Stuffed Cheddar Burger

Ingredients

Burger Patty

  • 1 lb burger
  • Rainier Foods Blackened Seasoning
  • 2 onions
  • 3 slices of Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese cheese 
  • St. Pierre Brioche Buns (4)

Burger Sauce 

  • Burger Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup ketchup 
  • Tbsp sugar 
  • 3 tbsps relish

  1. Preheat Traeger Grills to 350 degrees
  2. Separate burger into 1/4 pound balls
  3. In a bowl, add blackened seasoning to 1/4 of the burger and mix the seasoning into the burger thoroughly.
  4. Cut parchment paper in 1/2 (optional) and spread burger evenly in press. 
  5. Using about 1/2 of the seasoned burger, Press porcelain top firmly into the burger press. 
  6. Place 2 slices of white cheddar into the burger press then add the remaining seasoned burger. 
  7. Press porcelain top firmly into the burger press
  8. Lift parchment paper out and flip burger patty directly onto grill
  9. Repeat for each burger patty
  10. While burgers are cooking, cook grilled onions in a cast iron skillet. 
  11. Once burger patties have reached an IT of at least 145 degrees, place white cheddar cheese on each patty. Once melted, place patties on a tray
  12. Lay out your St. Pierre brioche buns, and add burger sauce to the top bun 
  13. On bottom bun stack burger patty and grilled onions 
  14. Place your top bun on the burger and enjoy!
