Mushroom and Swiss Burger
Ingredients
- BBQ Aid Burger Press
- 1 lb burger
- Traeger Prime Rib Rub
- 1 package of sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices of swiss cheese
- St. Pierre Brioche Buns (4)
- Garlic Aioli ( 1 cup mayonnaise, lemon juice and 2tbsp minced garlic)
Instructions
- Preheat Traeger Grills to 350 degrees
- Seperate burger into 1/4 pound balls
- In a bowl, add Traeger Grills Prime Rib Rub to 1/4 of the burger and mix the seasoning into the burger thoroughly.
- Cut parchment paper in 1/2 (optional) and spread burger evenly in press.
- Press porcelain top firmly into the burger patty
- Lift parchment paper out and flip burger patty directly onto grill
- Repeat for each burger patty
- Before putting burgers on the grill, in a cast iron skillet add oil and sauté the mushrooms until tender.
- While mushrooms and burger patties are cooking, mix 1 cup mayonnaise, a dash of lemon juice and 2 tablespoon minced garlic to create the garlic aioli.
- Once burger patties have reached an IT of at least 145 degrees, place 2 slices of Swiss cheese on each patty. Once melted, place patties on a tray
- Lay out your St. Pierre brioche buns, and add garlic aioli to top bun.
- On bottom bun place burger patty, and top with mushrooms
- Place your top bun on the burger and enjoy!
